Create new site from scratch

Hi guys.

I installed the SenseNet in a server with ip address 192.168.#.##.

The "default_site" template is showed when I write 192.168.#.## in the navigator. Actually I need to create a new site from scratch (this called "portal"), however, I wish that portal uses the same ip address used by the default_site template.

How do I this without damage the default_site template?

Hi, you can have multiple sites and one site can be accessed through multiple urls, but the urls must be unique across all sites. So you have to remove the IP address from the default site (content explorer, site Edit page) and add the IP address to your new site (called portal) on its edit page (url list field, hard to miss :)).

Please check this wiki page for more details.

If somehow you lock out yourself from the portal, you may check this article for help.
